Visions of Hell... In A Divine Revelation of Hell, over a period of thirty nights, God gave Mary K. Baxter visions of hell and commissioned her to tell people still alive on earth to reject sin and evil, and to choose life in Christ. Here is an account of the place and beings of hell contrasted with the glories of heaven. Follow Mary in her supernatural journey as she enters with Jesus into a gateway to hell and encounters the sights, sounds, and smells of that dark place of torment, including its evil spirits, cells, pits, jaws, and heart. Be an eyewitness to the various punishments of lost souls and hear their shocking stories. This book is a reminder that each of us needs to accept the miracle of salvation before it is too late-and to intercede for those who do not yet know Christ. Time is running out.

What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Qur'an
What used to be an exotic religion of people halfway around the world is now the belief system of people living across the street. Through fair, contextual use of the Qur'an, apologist James R. White presents Islamic beliefs about Christ, salvation, the Trinity, the afterlife, and other important topics. White shows how the sacred text of Islam differs from the teachings of the Bible in order to help Christians engage in open, honest discussions with Muslims.

When did we stop singing this love song to our country? It was so subtle; did it just sort of disappear with many of the other patriotic traditions that our country stood for? How many of us still remember this song, reminding us of the price paid by our fathers--the hopes and dreams of our ancestors, as they struggled in filthy disease-ridden holds of ships bringing them to a new land of promise and freedom for all? Writing about Mother Cabrini and the reason she came to our country, we became aware of the struggle, the crosses our families bore to give us a land of promise. Our grandparents never shared their pains. They were just happy to be Americans

Pope Pius IX Pope Pius IX. He was elected Pope at one of the most crucial periods in the history of the Church, and remained at the helm of the ship of the Church longer than any Pope before or since, 32 years. He is responsible for many great things during his papacy, including, but not limited to the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, the short-lived Vatican I, and his ongoing battle against the elements who were out to destroy the Church, namely the beginnings of the New Age movement, and the liberals all over Europe, but especially Victor Emmanuel in Italy, who not only plotted to steal the papal lands, he ultimately forced our Pope to end his pontificate as a self-imposed prisoner inside the Vatican walls. These and many other attacks made against Pope Pius IX, lovingly called Pio Nonno, caused him much grief throughout his Papacy, but the Lord kept him in charge for for 32 years for a good reason; there was a job to be done! God knew Pius IX could get the job done!

Pope Pius VII He Came up against the Powers of Hell As we research the lives of Saints and Other Powerful Men and Women in the Church, we sometimes wonder if they were ever given a job description of what was expected of them in their positions, and if they had been given the opportunity to say “Aye” or “Nay”. Did they, and do we really have a choice to say “Aye” or “Nay” to the Lord when He calls us into Ministry? Our daughter has an expression which pretty well answers the question. She says “You can go kicking and screaming in the night, but when the Lord wants you to do something, He will have His way.” One other observation we’d like to leave you with on this subject is a quote from Mother Angelica, foundress of EWTN Global Television Network. When we were writing her biography for our book, Saints and Other Powerful Women in the Church, we asked the question. “Mother, aren’t you ever frightened when you make these multi-million dollar purchases with only $200 in the bank?” She answered: “There’s only one thing I fear, and that is on Judgment day if the Lord should say to me, ‘Angelica, I gave you a job to do and you didn’t do it.’ I could not bear disappointing the Lord. That’s what I fear.”

Having God's forgiveness is wonderful. Spending eternity with God is great. But for now, where is the abundant life Jesus promised? Why is the Christian life such a struggle? Because getting forgiven is only half of the gospel! The rest of the gospel is not us striving on our own to be good Christians, but Christ in us, living His life through us as we rest in him. '

The Democratization of American Christianity
The half century following the American Revolution witnessed the transformation of American Christianity. The passion for equality, says Hatch, brought about a crisis or religious authority in popular culture, introduced new and popular forms of theology, witnessed the rise of minority religious movements, reshaped preaching, singing, and publishing, and became a scriptural foundation for nineteenth-century American individualism. Hatch examines five distinct traditions or mass movements that emerged early in the nineteenth century: the Christian movement, the Methodists, the Baptists, the black churches, and the Mormons. Each was led by young men of relentless energy who went about movement building as self-conscious outsiders, However diverse their theologies and church organizations. Hatch points out, they all offered the unschooled and unsophisticated compelling visions of individual potential and collective aspiration. More effectively than religious movements in other modern industrial societies, these denominations embraced people without regard to social standing and challenged them to think, interpret Scripture, and organize the church for themselves. The religious populism that resulted remains among the oldest and deepest impulse in American life.

Christian Women on the Job: Excelling at Work without Compromising Your Faith
Christian women can excel in their careers in spite of the unique obstacles they face, and they can do this without compromising their faith. David Goetsch uses his decades of experience and counseling to show you how. The most enduring success principles for the workplace have roots in Scripture. In a world that increasingly endorses moral relativism, secular humanism, political correctness, and anti-Christian bias, employers still cry out for personnel who are honest, dependable, selfless, and diligent-personnel who solve problems rather than cause them, prevent conflict rather than incite it, seek responsibility instead of running from it, work to improve the team rather than pursuing their own agendas, prevent stress rather than instigate it, and win the trust and respect of their coworkers in spite of differences in worldviews. Christian Women on the Job provides twelve specific strategies that will help women excel by overcoming the hindrances they face at work. Karen Moore, bestselling author of devotional and prayer books, shares encouraging words and inspiring prayers and thoughts.
