National Gardening Week 2022 runs from 2-8th May and this year, for your delectation, we have created a collection of books to inspire you to be more green fingered.
Ever since the first celebration in 2012, the annual event has grown in popularity. and each National Gardening Week sees thousands of people sharing their love of gardening. Whether you are uplifted by seeing local blooms or find your own joy in gardening we have curated here a selection of books to inspire, enthuse and entertain you.
The theme for 2022 is "the joy of gardening" thus named to celebrate the opening of the new RHS Community Gardens, each of which is designed to be a space where groups, families, organisations and individuals can discover, share and grow their joy of gardening. The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK’s leading gardening charity which aims to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.
So whether you’re gardening to eat, saving our planet with your gardening intiatives, gardening for joy and to support your mental health, sowing seeds with the little ones in your life or getting on top of the pruning, find some books here to complement your gardening journey.
