When I reached it I fell into free-fall and lost myself to the words. There is a rich decadence to be found, beauty sits waiting, nightmares too. There is a wickedly sharp and modern Gothic feel to this novel and a heart full of love, lies, and betrayal beats within the pages. With a mystery at its fairy tale centre, The Last Tale of the Flower Bride is a stunningly visual read. Chosen as a Star Book and Liz Pick of the Month, I have struggled to express how much this novel means to me, I can only recommend it with my heart and soul.
