This is a gripping, edge-of-your-seat gritty YA thriller from the author of Long Reach. The author's hallmarks from his debut novel come to the fore once again in this his second - cleverly drawn and realistic characterisation, interwoven plot lines all within a young urban setting of the West Midlands and the Costa del Sol. If you're looking for high-octane adventure drenched through with heightened tension then look no further than a Peter Cocks thriller.
Once you're in the business, there's no going back...
Eddie Savage is hiding out in the West Midlands after his near-fatal shooting during the Kelly affair. But while the physical wounds are fading, the emotional scars are taking longer to heal. And when Eddie finds himself heading for the south of Spain with an unlikely travelling companion, it is as if, by some magnetic force, he is being drawn back into the criminal underworld.
Tommy Kelly may be safely locked up back at home, but on the Costa del Sol the Kelly organization is still alive, and kicking. This is a gripping sequel to gritty urban thriller Long Reach .
'This high-octane thriller is written with a sophistication that puts it far above most entry-level stuff and makes it just as enthralling to adults... With strong characterisation, an intricate plot and enough tension to get the most jaded reader sweating, this is a compelling read.' The Guardian
