LoveReading Expert Review of The Confessions of Edward Day

Set in the theatre world of the 1970’s this story brings together a group of colourful, charming and calculating characters. A story of misplaced loyalties, a love triangle and the competitive, jealous world of the theatre make for a thoroughly engrossing read with art reflecting life as the story reaches it’s closing scenes.

Professional and personal jealousies come to a head when Edward is cast opposite Madeleine in an acclaimed production of Uncle Vanya, their respective roles painfully mirroring the reality of their personal situations.
