March 2017 Debut of the Month.
Stuffed full of intrigue, suspicion, and mistrust, this is a dramatic psychological thriller. Gracie, balancing her career and home with a finely judged hand, meets Juliet, who faces chaos on a daily basis; harassment threatens the fledgling friendship and worms it’s way into troubled relationships, just who can be trusted? A diary hovers in the background, creating a toxic pool of tension. Sam Hepburn allows certain snippets of knowledge to float free, encouraging my thoughts and feelings to alter, doubt, question. This is clever writing, hurt and confusion is betrayed by actions and reactions. All the foreboding gathers in one tight knot, just as the ending comes in sight. Stepping on expectations and provoking emotions, ‘Her Perfect Life’ is a fascinating, seductive read. ~ Liz Robinson
