Navigating modern life is challenging, but we mustn’t lose sight of the more amusing and endearing aspects! I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful, humorous 121-page book. I found myself smiling, nodding and even laughing out loud when I recognised myself or others in the descriptions. The author skilfully presents us with relevant, entertaining topics from modern life. The book is easy to read and can be read all at once, or you could dip in and out, enjoying a chapter or two at a time. There are 10 chapters, with bullet points for each observation. The author gives a short introduction and then covers the following aspects of modern life: social media, how to sell unwanted items on social media, participating in the “impossible to avoid” group chat, how to watch the new type of television (streaming, series) how to be a parent in these advanced times, how to go on holiday, how to navigate your 20’s and 30’s, surviving a pandemic and a general chapter with observations that don’t fit into the other categories. The author definitely succeeds in her aim of encouraging us to take ourselves less seriously. Highly recommended!

How to in 2022 is a funny and witty account of the challenges and absurdities of life in the 2022's. With a light and cheerful narrative, the writer invites readers to reflect on certain aspects of life that have surfaced or evolved in recent years. From the trivialities of navigating social media and group chats, the challenging times for young adults and for parenthood, to the weird years of living with a pandemic, the topics addressed in the book are such common ground nowadays that it is virtually impossible not to feel part of its narrative. This instant connection - as if the book was written about your experience of navigating the world in recent years - is what makes this book so great.... Read Full Review

It is written in a very relatable and easy to read way which drew me in from the outset and had me giggling.

From the very first page of this book, I was laughing out loud. It is written in a very relatable and easy to read way which drew me in from the outset and had me giggling. The section on social media was very funny and is exactly how I see things playing out on my local Facebook group!... Read Full Review
