A fast, action-packed, page-turning novel of corporate bonding that plummets into mayhem in a complicated plot that is set in and around an historic mansion. It’s classic Brookmyre; humorous, thrilling stuff. You really have to read this man, a star for the future. Since this is not his best (although brilliant), you’ve got some real thrills in store once you become hooked on him. You may have caught James Nesbitt in an earlier one on television, Quite Ugly One Morning.
