"A subtle science fiction tale with mysteries and questions at its core to keep the pages turning."
Available in Kindle, Hardcover and Paperback from Amazon.
‘Niobium Node - Earth's Oldest Secret’ by Mike Khouri is a subtle science fiction story that follows the lives of Gada and Mike, best friends since school, as Gada’s academics and career leads her to a high ranking position in the Defence Intelligence Agency and sees her investigating two high profile cases.
As soon as I started reading I was immediately immersed with the story. I really liked both Mike and Gada and I enjoyed getting to know them and their character arc as we follow Gada’s path through university and into her career. I found Niobium Node to be very well written, subtly integrating science fiction elements into the story from the beginning, with precocious classroom questions leading to more fleshed out investigations. Very cleverly formatted and with mysteries and questions at its core to keep you engaged and the pages turning I didn’t want to put this book down once I started reading.
At under 200 pages, this is a book that I could see many science-fiction fans devouring in one sitting. An interesting read and I’m intrigued to see whether this story will continue into another book.
