‘The Timepiece and the Girl Who Went Astray’ is a quick and easy to sink into story filled with history, and time travel. William is a US college dropout living in London. His unassuming life is changed when he purchases a watch. The timepieces’ mysterious and bloody history catches up to William and he finds himself wanted for murder and being chased through history by a secret organisation to claim this Timepiece back for themselves.

I thought that the plot flowed well, there’s a lot of description and historic detail that the author is clearly either very knowledgeable, or has been very well researched. I liked Will, his character is well-rounded and dynamic, and I enjoyed following his story.
