Bones Never Lie by Kathy Reichs

Lovereading view...

Dr Temperance Brennan is at it again – bones, bones and more bones. This is another involved, gripping tale of murder and mayhem featuring copycat killings … or are they? It also features Tempe’s mother, an old woman in a nursing home with a wandering mind, terminal cancer and a way with computers! She’s a delight. The tale involves dead children. It is really gripping with misleading factors springing up everywhere, it’s thrilling stuff. One of her best. ~ Sarah Broadhurst

Reviews

'I love Kathy Reichs - always scary, always suspenseful, and I always learn something.' -- Lee Child

'Kathy Reichs writes smart - no, make that brilliant - mysteries that are as realistic as non-fiction and as fast-paced as the best thrillers about Jack Reacher, or Alex Cross.' -- James Patterson

Fellow novelist KERRY REICHS on KATHY REICHS

When speaking of writers that have most influenced me, it’s safe to begin at the beginning. My mother Kathy Reichs has written eleven London Times best selling books and fostered the television drama Bones. I am incredibly proud of her talents, and her pride in mine has sweetened my success. My defection from Lawyer Camp (my father and brother are lawyers) to Writer Camp was heralded with joyous open arms by my mother, and the best part is enjoying it together. We don’t agree on everything, and we write about vastly different subject materials. But some day I may just cave in to her pestering that I “put a dead body” in one of my books so we can write something together! If you haven’t already, try her latest book, Devil Bones.
