"Enthralling action-filled storytelling fills the pages and ensures this vibrant and stimulating international thriller is a must-read."
Fiercely entertaining with on-point plotting and exquisitely detailed writing, Resurrection is one humdinger of a read. This time it’s personal, Dan Raglan is in a race against Russia to recover intelligence that has been hidden for years. Resurrection is the third in this outstanding series, all of which have been LoveReading Star Books, and began with The Englishman, followed by Betrayal. Resurrection sees Dan Raglan in two main settings, the fierceness of the Sahara and intricacies of Russia ensure he has to be switched on and operating at his very best. The fact that Raglan is ex Foreign Legion and lives in France places himself on the edge of UK rules and regulations and makes him first choice for anything that sits on the more difficult side of intelligence. The explosive first chapter ensured a reading forcefield deployed around me, I did not want to move away from this book! The locations felt unbelievably real as I entered them, I was there by Raglan’s side, on high alert throughout. The writing means the action feels authentic, I let it roll over me and gather me up in the maelstrom. David Gilman also has the ability to make the small moments matter within the hugely epic plot, this meant that I truly cared and was invested in the results. The personal battles within the unfolding story highlight the dogged and determined nature of Raglan, and make this action man human. Clever, powerful, and escapism at its very best, Resurrection firmly cements this series as one that I will continue to hunt down.

Dan Raglan, former Foreign Legion fighter, alias The Englishman, returns in Resurrection, the new high-octane, high-stakes international thriller from David Gilman.
Somewhere in the Sahara, on the desolate border between Sudan and Chad, a P51 Mustang with long-range drop tanks slowly emerges from the dunes.
Inside, the skeletalized remains of a man missing for three decades.
His flying jacket bears no insignia, a worn leather attaché case lies by his side, held securely by a manacle around his left wrist. Inside a document men will kill for. Die for.
The sands of time have shifted, and whoever finds that aircraft finds information that could expose the most valuable spy the UK intelligence service has ever known.
The British, the French, and the Russians are on the trail.
And so is Raglan.
