Totally compelling, totally brilliant thriller. Have you ever considered how totally dependent the world is on a regular supply of oil? What would happen if this supply were cut off? What if this was being done deliberately by a group of powerful individuals’ intent on re-shaping the world? Following a family who find themselves, inadvertently, at the centre of the unfolding disaster the pace of this book is breath taking - I read this book in one sitting!
After several years of research into an issue that affects us all, Alex Scarrow has written a chilling thriller that depicts in a harrowingly convincing way just how fragile our society really is, and how we are only a hair's breadth away from its collapse.
