This is really good fun and full of great characters to make each page a delight to read. As Sophie Kinsella says it’s “like Malory Towers for grown-ups”, it’s just a shame we don’t already have a big back catalogue of Downey House stories to work through.You will just have to be patient and wait for Beaton to write the next one as you will definitely want to find at how the next year turns out, and the next, and the next………
