Hamilton is one of the top SF writers of today and this concluding part of his Commonwealth duology is good reason why. It is long but that said it is a real page turner with plenty of hi-octane action throughout to keep you guessing at the ending. If it has a slight downside then I’d say the ending was a slight disappointment. The first book in the Commonwealth duology is Pandora's Star
