After ten years in prison Jane Jenkins, suffering from amnesia, decides to find out if she really did murder her mother of which she was accused.  Returning to her roots under a new name, Rebecca Parker, she discovers some ugly truths.  She comes from a prominent, wealthy, socialite family and yet her mother came from a poor family.  The secrets behind all this are nicely revealed but it’s the final twist that really makes you sit up here!  Written in an easy, flowing style, it is a quick read.
