LoveReading Expert Review of Blindsighted

The start of an addictive series from Queen of Crime, Karin Slaughter

This is the first of the Grant County Series, following Police Chief Jeffrey Tolliver and pediatrician and town coroner Dr Sarah Linton. We love Karin Slaughter's writing and her first book is as addictive as her latest. Blidsighted investigates a case full of twists and turns. The relationship between divorced couple Sara and Jeffrey is nuanced and adds more complexity to the case, as they work together to stop a violent and experienced predator and serial killer.

The Grant County Series:

1. Blindsighted

2. Kisscut

3. A Faint Cold Fear

4. Indelible

5. Faithless

6. Skin Privilege

You'll also find the character, Dr Sara Linton in Slaughter's Will Trent Series

Blindsighted Synopsis

She was found in the local diner. Brutally murdered. Ritually mutilated.

Karin Slaughter Press Reviews

Don't read this alone. Don't read this after dark. But do read it - Daily Mirror

This gripping debut novel, filled with unremittingly graphic forensic details, is likely to have Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs glancing nervously in their rearview mirrors because rookie Karin Slaughter is off the starting grid as quickly as Michael Schumacher and is closing on them fast - Irish Independent

Chilling but thrilling - OK!

Slaughter ... brings the story to a shattering climax - Sunday Telegraph

Wildly readable... [Slaughter] has been compared to Thomas Harris and Patricia Cornwell, and for once the hype is justified ... deftly craf ted, damnably suspenseful and, in the end, deadly serious ... Slaughter 's plotting is brilliant, her suspense relentless - Washington Post
