LoveReading Says
Another powerful and dynamic offering from Katerina Diamond. 19 year old Gabriel Webb finds himself as the central suspect of a horrific crime, is he innocent or guilty? If you haven't yet stepped into the world of DS Imogen Grey and DS Adrian Miles, then do start with The Secret and The Teacher. Each story can in effect be read as a standalone, as each new set of supporting characters become vital leads, however the back story to Grey and Miles is just as important.
As usual, a deep breath was required before I started, as once in, I found ‘The Angel’ impossible to put down. Katerina Diamond excels in creating spiralling, snaking, patterns that twist and turn in your mind. My eyes gobbled the words up, I love the dynamic between Grey and Miles, and as more information is revealed, we see further into their hearts and minds.
With plenty of shocks and revelations, plus a thunderingly good story, The Angel just may be my favourite yet by Katerina Diamond, it’s certainly one not to miss. ~ Liz Robinson

SUN THE TRUTH WON'T STAY LOCKED UP FOREVER
When a burned body is found in a disused signal box, suspicion falls on lonely teenager Gabriel Webb. There's no doubt he was at the scene of the crime, but does he really deserve what awaits him in prison? DS Imogen Grey is certain there's more to the case than meets the eye.
But while she struggles to convince those around her of the truth, her partner DS Adrian Miles is distracted by his own demons. When a brutal double murder is reported, their investigation is stopped in its tracks. Is the body in the box even who they thought it was?
The duo realise Gabriel might have been locked up for a crime he didn't commit. But with enemies watching Gabriel's every move, they may be too late. Miles and Grey are back in the thrilling new novel from bestselling author Katerina Diamond, perfect for fans of Karin Slaughter and M.J.
