Ricky Tomlinson was born in 1939 and grew up in Liverpool. He has starred in many TV series including The Royle Family, Brookside and Cracker, and in films such as Raining Stones, Mike Bassett: England Manager and The 51st State. He lives in Liverpool with his wife, Rita.
