When June’s publisher first gave me a taster of her first novel, Trust Nobody I was blown away by what I read. Something that was original and different from other fiction around. Broken Bodies is her second novel, is no less accomplished and as with her first novel features the gutsy Daisy who wants payback on a death in the first book. If you’ve not read June’s first novel, then imagine a cross between the tough urban world of a Martina Cole novel coupled with the warmth of a Catherine Cookson.
