February 2017 Book of the Month.

Another completely captivating, and tension filled dramatic tale from Susan Lewis. I look forward to each new book and have to say, I think this just might be my favourite to date. The rather wonderful Andrea Lawrence (from previous novels) investigates a missing young woman. As Andee faces difficulties in her own life, she sets out to find answers for a grieving family. If you haven't read Behind Closed Doors or The Girl Who Came Back, don't worry, as I do feel this can be enjoyed as a standalone novel. Susan Lewis writes beautifully fully realised characters, flaws and strengths sit side by side, creating people you feel you know. Information is slowly revealed and connections begin to create zip wires of tension skimming through the pages. ‘The Moment She Left’ is expressive and emotional, and yet a terrifically readable, entertaining tale. ~ Liz Robinson

If you like Susan Lewis you might also like to read books by Nora Roberts, Hannah Richell and Sandra Brown.

The Moment She Left by Susan Lewis

Kesterly-on-Sea is full of secrets. Some are darker than others; many are shameful. One is even deadly. Andee is an ex-detective whose marriage is breaking up. So when a young female student disappears without trace, she throws herself into the search. Meanwhile, the town's beloved Rowzee Cayne has just discovered that she is terminally ill, and doesn't want to burden her family and friends with the news. Andee and Rowzee don't know it yet, but their journeys are going to help them uncover a secret. One that is going to affect them more than they could ever imagine.
