Whoohee, this is a fierce, adrenaline rush of a read, and it packs a huge punch of attitude. PC Lucy Clayburn is desperate to get onto CID, she finds herself undercover and in danger when she joins the Serious Crime Division as they attempt to stop a female serial killer. The prologue, four years before the main story, launches this action-packed blast of a tale, it’s full on from the get go and doesn't let up. Paul Finch is a former police officer and journalist, the mix ensures a fascinating read. He keeps the tension as taut as barbed wire, and has the ability to set every scene blazing in your mind's eye. ‘Strangers’ is highly entertaining, exciting, and I gobbled this up in one thrilling charge of a read. ~ Liz Robinson
