Sue Baker's view...

Culled from the Internet, these examples of mad and scarcely believable knitted wonders do seem to have strayed very far from bobble hats and cardies. There seems to be a strong SF influence in the creations like Doctor Spock ears or a Princess Leah hat, someone else has even felt the need to portray an alien dissection – in wool. If you’re not into SF then how about a knitted toilet roll, sadly in plain stitch so not very comfy and hygienic to use or perhaps your dog would like to dress up as a rabbit or your tortoise masquerade as a burger? Knitting really will not seem the same after you’ve looked at the samples on show in WTF Knits.
