Sue Baker's view...

Anyone who says “I truly believe that life is improved by cake” gets my vote. Dan Lepard knows what he is about - he knows cake adds a twinkle to the day even if we have to beware too much sugar. It’s not all cake or dessert though, Short and Sweet includes a good portion of very toothsome savouries with biscuits and breads too. It’s a good read as well as a good cookery book, hints and tips scattered all the way through means you learn something new as you go.
