Sarah Broadhurst's view...

A dark, psychological thriller that builds slowly fluctuating between Emma in Greece in the 1980s and Kate in London in the present. Something sinister hangs over the girls, linking them. Families with teenagers may want to avoid the Greek sections; they may have nightmares! Back today, Kate is being interviewed by Hello UK due to her youngest daughter Martha dying from cancer at 11 years old. Kate has set up a charity in her name to help children in impoverished countries get schooling. And so the mystery evolves with an underlying sense of menace.

Reviews

'Another compelling, beautifully-written book from one of the best writers in a strong field. Once again, Julia Crouch plays on our darkest fears, and makes the reader feel that the closer to home, the greater the menace. Brilliant'
Erin Kelly A highly addictive revenge thriller

... Julia Crouch expertly thrusts you back into those heady days of teenage gap years, when anything feels possible, yet danger lurks everywhere. I devoured The Long Fall in two days, and couldn't stop thinking about it afterwards -- Louise Millar
