Sarah Broadhurst's view...

Each chapter is told from the point of view of one character in true R R Martin style which has rather taken over this area of fantasy, only here there are only two main characters! Very predictable with lots of battle scenes and an interesting world which we will know more about as the series continues, it is different in so much as we have guns as opposed to swords. Very military-based with a huge scope I feel it will develop into an epic series.

If you like Django Wexler you might also like to read books by Steven Erikson, George R R Martin and Glen Cook.
