Ink Stil Wet

What's hotter than 'Hot-Off-The-Press'? - why, 'Not-Off-The-Press', of course! Here's a look at our great pre-publication exclusives this month: Fisher of Men by Pam Rhodes. One of our Reader Review panel members summed this book up perfectly - 'Comical and uplifting, this delightful blend of stories fills you with a warm fuzzy feeling as you immerse yourself in an utterly absorbing tale of inspired vision and dry wit.' The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. This quirky, romantic, gem of a book weirdly sits somewhere between One Day, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and Bridget Jones's Diary. We loved it, as did our Reader Reviewers!

It's a 'Group' thang!

Ooh we love a good reading group, we do. So we're more than happy to give them a helping hand to find the next hot topic, and give you extra discounts if you order 5 or more copies of a book! This month we are besotted by: Schroder by Amity Gaige - Described by a Reader Reviewer as "a novel that touches such emotional depths it can't be forgotten easily". The Beauty of Murder by A K Benedict - A genre-bending crime debut packed full of atmospheric detail that brings a dark and macabre Cambridge to life. The Crown by Nancy Bilyeau - A compelling and captivating 16th Century murder tale. Fans of Dan Brown will love this!

'E' That's a Good Read!

Nothing Short of Brilliant

Let's face it, sometimes you just need a quick fix. A moment of escapism. The much under-valued short story format is incredibly hard to get right but when it is right it's incredibly rewarding for the reader. We have a whole section dedicated to the best of the short form for you to explore ... This month, we love: Black Vodka: Ten Stories by Deborah Levy - Ten elegant, witty yet unsettling short stories explore the dislocations of modern life. Deborah's novel, Swimming Home, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2012.
