This publication contains a list of manufacturers authorized by governments to manufacture narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The list is brought up to date and reissued on an annual basis by the Policy Support Section, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Part I: The contents of the present list are based on data provided to the Secretary-General, by states both parties and non-parties to the relevant treaties on the control of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, in the annual reports for 2008 on the working of the international drug control treaties. The list is presented on a country-by-country basis. Data received from the governments are reflected in Part II.
