Similar to controlled narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, precursors and chemicals appear under a wide variety of names. This new dictionary, published by the laboratory and Scientific Section, Division of Policy Analysis, completes UNODC's set of international drug dictionaries which also includes the Multilingual Dictionary of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances under International Control (MLD, ST/NAR/1), and provides accurate and comprehensive information on the chemical names of the 23 Precursors and Chemicals under international control, listed in the Tables of the 1988 Convention.
