We read both sets of letters, and while the sisters have a shared past, Lisa Beazley skilfully creates two distinct characters in Cassie and Sid, each with their own voice. Aside from the letters, Cassie also tells her own story, and while she may fantasise about another life on paper, we see what is really going on inside her mind.
‘Keep Me Posted’, full of observations about modern life, is an amusing, penetrating and enjoyable read.

Lisa Beazley traded her corporate communications career for fiction writing when she moved from New York to Singapore as the “trailing spouse” of her husband, became an “expat housewife” and longed to add a more substantial designation to her identity without actually getting a job. Lisa was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and has a journalism degree from Ohio University. She’s lived in Cleveland, Honolulu, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. When she’s not reading or writing, Lisa is sharpening her toad-catching, Lego-building, and deep-breathing skills as the mother of three young boys.
