We witness both Charlotte and Anthony’s thoughts and feelings, yet it is as Chloe talks in the first person, that the tale really nudges into chilling and disquieting life.

Susan Lewis makes this story feel real, she handles the uncomfortable and alarming with compassion, offering no judgement, yet allowing the reader to consider, to feel and emote. ‘You Said Forever’ tugs at heartstrings, pushes you to face your disbelief, and yet is filled with warmth and hope too, creating a remarkably compelling read. ~ Liz Robinson
