A sad, sweet, thought-provoking tale about the love and bond between parents and children. ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ is a story about 6 year old Ella and her father Will, however the whole family have a part to play in the events that unfold. The first page is a bit of a jaw dropper, it doesn't just set the story in motion, it launches it.
There is lovely simplicity to this tale, yet there is a core of steel which is bound in challenging emotions. S.D Robertson can at times be quite matter of fact, which balances the creativity of the story beautifully. It’s best not to question, to overthink, but to just slip away from what you know and enter a story full of emotion and possibilities. ~ Liz Robinson
