A Long Way from Home by Cathy Glass Read the opening extract of the brand new Cathy Glass book before its publication on 22/02/2018

Alex Cross, Run by James Patterson

Lovereading view...

The short chapters, the cliff-hangers, the relentless action keep you turning the pages as Cross once again gets too close to danger. The villain of the piece is a plastic surgeon able to change his appearance; add a suicide, a missing baby and Cross’ family in a vulnerable spot and you know you are in for one fast ride. If you’ve read him from the start then this twentieth book might seem a bit familiar but if you are a newcomer you are in for a treat.

If you like James Patterson you might also like to read books by Lee Child, Michael Connelly and Lisa Gardner.

Synopsis

Alex Cross, Run by James Patterson

Three killers are on the rampage in the capital and dead bodies are piling up almost as fast as the police can count them. Alex Cross is in charge of all three investigations and has never been under more pressure. But with a crisis at home that threatens to tear his family apart, Alex's attention is divided. While Cross tracks the killers, he doesn't notice that someone is tracking him. Can Alex unravel the cases and find the killers in time? Or will he be the next dead body on the list?

Reviews

'Alex Cross remains James Patterson's signature character, a man who virtually owns the phrase 'high octane' and this outing is no exception. '-- Michael Conaghan, Belfast Telegraph
