Yvette van Boven divides her time between Amsterdam and Paris. She is a freelance food stylist, artist and recipe writer and owns, together with her cousin, a restaurant and catering company in Amsterdam. Yvette also illustrates books and magazines as well as creating her own artwork and screen prints.
