About Ross Kemp

Born in Essex in 1964, Ross Kemp is best known as one half of the infamous Mitchell Brothers in BBC's EastEnders. Most recently, Kemp has received international recognition as an investigative journalist for his critically acclaimed and award-winning documentary series', which include Ross Kemp on Gangs (2006) and Ross Kemp in Afghanistan (2008). Ross Kemp in Afghanistan came about when Ross heard that his father's old regiment, 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment, were to be deployed in Helmand province.
