This is one of the newly popular vampire romances that are flooding over from America. It is the third in a series and one of the best. It is aimed mainly at a teenage reader but if you want a bit of light excitement and sexual tension, then I do recommend them. They really are great fun.
Comparison: Anne Rice, Laurell K Hamilton, Jennifer Rardin.

The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer - Have a White Christmas with The Twilight Saga:
This Christmas, fans of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga are in for a festive treat with the release of mouth-watering new editions of the four books in the Twilight Saga. The Twilight Saga’s classic dark jackets will be replaced with pure white covers. They will feature just the four iconic and instantly recognisable images from the Twilight series – the apple, flower, ribbon and chess pieces – but against a brilliant white backdrop. There will be no writing on the covers, with only the author’s name and title of the book on the spine. In striking contrast to the front cover, the pages will be edged with crimson and the back cover a matching deep red.
These limited editions make an eye-catching set of books. They will only be available in UK and Irish bookshops in the months before Christmas 2010 and make the ideal stocking present for fans of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful books.
The Twilight Saga has now sold over 116 million copies worldwide and created a generation of devoted fans. Twilight, the first novel in the series, was first published in 2005 and has since sold over two million copies in the UK alone, with each of the other three novels selling over a million copies.
The much-anticipated third novel in the captivating saga of vampire romance that began with Twilight, continued with New Moon. Friendships are stretched beyond breaking point and love choices must be made that are a matter of life and death and as with all Stephenie Meyer novels the lyrical prose will captivate you and every manner of emotion will touch you. The fourth, Breaking Dawn, is out now.
'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which? Following the international bestsellers Twilight and New Moon, Eclipse is the much-anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's captivating saga of vampire romance.

Three months later she finished her first novel, Twilight and it became one of 2005’s most talked about novels and made it on to the ...More About Stephenie Meyer
