Rediscovering her love of horses and starting her job as a groom is far from smooth sailing. There’s early starts and hard graft in the stables, the high tension of the games and all the glamorous afterparties worthy of the Sport of Kings. But leading the charge on the pitch and towards Ash’s heart is international pro polo player Mateo, our Argentinian heart-throb. The storyline offers a slow burn build up as Ash slowly lets her guard down, and delivers on romance that stands shoulder to shoulder with some of the most iconic scenes in rom-com history. Polo Fever is a sweet, heartwarming romance that had me laughing, holding my breath, and cantering through the pages, not able to put it down. The characters are lovable, the English countryside setting is idyllic, and the plot is the perfect escapist read.
