Princeweaver

LoveReading Says

This heart-beatingly romantic fantasy novel is a retelling of Welsh folklore and filled with magic, political intrigue, and revenge of the deepest darkest kind. In order to protect his brother, Meilyr agrees to marry prince Osian, as Meilyr desperately attempts to hide his magic he begins to develop feelings for the prince.

Author Elian J Morgan has created the most tantalising of tales with two wonderful leading characters. The world building begins immediately and I felt right at home yet the differences ensure that a rich tapestry is formed. The romance element is pronounced yet there is so much more to discover and it really feels as though a thoughtful balance is maintained within the story itself.

The dangers of the court creates a piercing edge that slices through the relationship. Meilyr’s magic is fascinating, and being based in nature it feels almost touchable until the darker side steps forward. I loved the ending, it felt entirely right and yet unexpected at the same time. The story is set to continue and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Full of dark adventure yet tender and intimate, Princeweaver delivers a wonderfully satisfying and rewarding tale.
