"Kael and Fife are definitely strong, determined as they seek to find answers, wealth and safety in a troubled land."
Available in paperback and on Kindle from Amazon
The Galathareon is book one in a fantasy trilogy.
In a world where magic has been eradicated under the control of a greedy king, Kael discovers that he holds special powers and seeks revenge and answers.
This book follows Kael and Fife mainly but also has a lot of characters in it so can at times be a little confusing as I struggled to keep track of who's who in the book. It is, however, well written and has beautiful character illustrations at the start of each chapter drawn by the author which really adds a special touch to the story.
The story unfolds as each character is introduced and the MC travels across the country. There were several twists I didn't see coming and it was interesting to see the way the character relationships developed.
Without wanting to give too much away, different aspects and relationships entwine to bring the book to a dramatic and powerful climax.
Kael and Fife are definitely strong, determined as they seek to find answers, wealth and safety in a troubled land.
I enjoyed the book overall and I am keen to read book two when it releases in December later this year.
