Backstabber by Kimberley Chambers

Lovereading view...

Vinny Butler and his family from the East end of London are back for another, their fifth, 500-plus pages of murder, infidelity and family values. In this chapter Vinny is still bent on revenge after masked gunmen burst into his aunt Viv’s wake and murdered his grandson, his son’s wife and his wing man. The story focuses on what happens to the characters after the shooting and on Vinny reaping his revenge. Much centres on the events from previous books so the present story does not really switch into gear until a good hundred pages in, then each action still harks back to earlier events. No bad thing for this abounds in characters and violence, you need to keep your wits about you. Lots of twists and turns take you up to a thrilling conclusion which is hopefully to be continued. ~ Sarah Broadhurst

Backstabber by Kimberley Chambers

If you don't face your enemies - they'll stab you in the back. One of them has a gun to his head, but who has their hand on the trigger? There are many people Vinny Butler and Eddie Mitchell have crossed in their time. Yet when two heavyweights of the criminal underworld go into business together they become untouchable, as do their families.

But someone is out for revenge. The death count is rising and it's getting closer to home. This isn't business any longer, it's about flesh and blood.

So who is the backstabber?
