The author is more than capable of running rings around your imagination and thought processes, remember, if you work something out, it’s only because you've been allowed to. There are some wonderfully clever moments where expected action is suspended and anticipated outcomes transformed. Occasionally a chapter will leave you hanging, you want to race ahead, to find out what has just happened, while at the same time consume every word to ensure absolutely nothing is missed.
