Overflowing with intrigue and suspense this story just gallops along. You don’t have to be a Sherlock Holmes aficionado to enjoy this tale, it is an easy and entertaining read, even when it pushes against the boundaries of plausibility. Some of the characters have some pretty dubious morals, so it’s interesting to find out who you would like to be friends with, or later not, as the case may be. We sit on Ivy’s shoulder in the present day as a secret threatens to shout itself from the rooftops, and also in the past, when we are taken back in time to see how a split second decision can dramatically change your life and haunt you in the years to come. Dip a toe into ‘Still Waters’ and bear witness to the storm that threatens Ivy and her family, it’s certainly an interesting ride. ~ Liz Robinson
