Dead Connection An Ellie Hatcher Novel by Alafair Burke

Sarah Broadhurst's view...

With a lovely style and very realistic characters, well plotted with pace and twists and turns, this had me hooked from the start despite having a pretty good idea of the real culprit quite early on. It starts a series starring rookie Ellie Hatcher and certainly leaves the tale wide open for the next instalment. It’s NYPD serial killer stuff with internet dating at its core. Highly recommended.

If you like Alafair Burke you might also like to read books by James Lee Burke, Chelsea Cain and J A Kerley.

So when, years later, a new killer emerges targeting single women online, Ellie willingly agrees to play victim in an attempt to trap him...In her first Ellie Hatcher series novel, Alafair Burke (author of All Day and A Night and City of Fear) unnervingly explores a world of stolen identities in which no-one is who they appear to be.
