Sarah Broadhurst's view...

The seventh World War II saga centred round the lovely seaside boarding house, Beach View, where you will once again meet some old friends. If you are new to the series it matters not for you’ll slip easily into their lives. This tale focuses on a young ATA pilot, Kitty, who spends her war ferrying different planes from A to B. She crashes one and loses a leg. Convalescing from a long period in hospital and learning to walk is what takes her to Beach View where landlady Peggy and the girls welcome her. But this in World War II and tragedy strikes again; Kitty must confront her sorrow and live. This is a great series; highly recommended.
