Sarah Broadhurst's view...

A Joe O’Loughlin mystery. He is a clinical psychologist, a series character in stand-alone thrillers. They are fascinating for we always get a psychological view as Joe helps the police unravel cases. This one involves a mysterious mother, Marnie, whose gambling husband disappeared a year ago and now a gangster wants the debt repaid. It all gets sinister as we are led down different twists in a complicated, excellent tale.

If you like Michael Robotham you might also like to read books by Lisa Gardner, Harry Bingham and Richard North Patterson.

Who is Sarah Broadhurst

The Good Book Guide logo The Good Book Guide Review. Marnie Logan is convinced that she is being watched, although she can’t quite identify who is making her feel paranoid. Her husband Daniel has been missing for over a year, and feeling unable to cope, she consults clinical psychologist Joe O’Loughlin. Subsequently, a book comes to light, one that was being prepared by her husband about her life. These days, Michael Robotham is celebrated as a crime writer, but he earned his crust for years as the ghost writer of choice for many celebrities with slender writing skills; his crime-writing career, however, showed that his previous pseudonymous efforts barely scratched the surface of his considerable skills.
