Restless in the Grave by Dana Stabenow

Sarah Broadhurst's view...

Book 19 in Stabenow’s Alaska set detective series featuring private investigator Kate Shurgak and her half-wolf dog, Mutt. Existing fans won’t be disappointed though they would encourage those new to the series to start way back at the beginning with A Cold Day for Murder. Excitingly for fans of Stabenow this mystery also brings in Liam Campbell, an Alaskan state trooper, from her other series and it’s he who invites Kate to investigate the crime, when his wife becomes a suspect in the murder. So Kate goes undercover but unsurprisingly not everything is as it seems and pretty soon Kate is in far deeper and more dangerously than she expected.

If you like Dana Stabenow you might also like to read books by Suzanne Collins, Sue Grafton and Hugh Howey.
