This explores the trauma of a good guy who gets caught up in a girl’s death.  It’s a tale of guilt, sadness and terror in a stark, highly compulsive style.  I truly found it hard to put down and hard to see how it was going to work out.  Sensitive, particularly with regards to the bereaved family, clever and slightly spooky, it has a nasty twist and a very satisfying end.  I loved it. Comparison: Unique but try Daniel Clay (Broken), Justin Evans (A Good and Happy Child), Jo-Anne Goodwin (Sweet Gum).
