The Man Booker Prize prize is one of the world's most important literary awards and has the power to transform the fortunes of authors and publishers. The 'Man Booker Dozen', longlist of the 2013 Man Booker Prize for Fiction, was announced towards the end of July and Robert Macfarlane, Chair of judges, said of it ‘This is surely the most diverse longlist in Man Booker history: wonderfully various in terms of geography, form, length and subject.’ Find out more about all of them in advance of the shortlist being announced on 10 September 2013.
