Ueli Daepp is professor emeritus of mathematics at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. He was born and educated in Bern, Switzerland and completed his PhD at Michigan State University. His fields of research are complex analysis, commutative algebra, and algebraic geometry.
Pamela Gorkin is professor emerita of mathematics at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. She received her PhD from Michigan State where she worked under the director of Sheldon Axler. Prof. Gorkin's research focuses on linear algebra, functional analysis, and operator theory. She was awarded the 2025 Mary P. Dolciani Prize for Excellence in Research by the American Mathematical Society and the AWM-MAA Etta Falconer Lecture in 2018. She is currently a co-editor for the Undergraduate Texts in Mathematics series and serves as associate editor for the Mathematical Intelligencer.
