Claire Boobbyer is a freelance writer, editor and photographer. She first visited Vietnam in 2004 and fell in love with the food, fabrics and beauty of the country. She first authored the Footprint Vietnam guide in 2007 and contributed to the 2004 edition. Claire first visited Laos in 2005 on a photographic assignment exploring the stunning landscapes, towns and villages. She is the author of the Footprint Laos guide. Claire also writes for magazines and newspapers including Wanderlust, The Independent, Traveller, Civil Service magazine and i-escape.com.
